TESTS OFFERED:
HERDING INSTINCT TESTS: This test is for the dog with little or no training. No age requirement so even young puppies may be entered. Qualifiers will receive a HIC certificate of completion from GSDCWS.
HERDING CAPABILITY TESTS: This test is for the dog with little or no training. Dogs need 2 qualifying runs under two different judges to earn an AHBA title.
Sheep will be used except with the judge’s discretion to use ducks in the HIC and HCT tests.
JR HERDDOG TEST: Stock: Sheep. This test is for the dog with training in a large arena. Dogs need 2 qualifying runs under two different judges to earn a title.
TRIAL SITE
WHERE? Ewe-topia Training Center, 6311 S. 288th Street, Roy, WA 98580
FROM I-5 north or south, take exit 127 (Highway 512–Puyallup/Mt Rainier); GO 2 mi. east to second exit (Highway 7-Spanaway/Parkland)-turn right; GO 4.6 mi. south, where the main road angles to left (signal light), take exit to the right (Highway 507-Roy/Centralia); GO 7.4 mi. S.W. to small town of Roy; DRIVE all the way through the town, past the 76 station, take a left onto S. 288th; GO to where the road seems to fork, stay left; Ewe-topia is 1.4 mi. down 288th – GOall the way up the gravel driveway, through the gate at the back; bear left to herding parking area.

$35.00/HIT/HCT, $40.00/JHD, $20/Puppy Run

Entry fees will NOT be refunded in the event that the dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by the show committee, because of riots, civil disturbances or acts beyond the control of management. If it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. Fees will not be refunded on duplicate or incorrectly completed entries.
Qualifiers
All qualifiers will receive a certificate of completion from GSDCWS.
HCT & JHD Qualifierswillalso receive a certificate from ABHA in the mail.

Additional Rules:
- All dogs shall be kept on leash except in the ring.
- The welfare of an exhibitor’s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
- Animals left in vehicles must have adequate shade, ventilation and hydration. If animals are in distress due to heat or any other circumstances, the vehicle will be forcibly entered, the animals recovered and the owner cited.
- IF IT IS NECESSARY TO RESCUE AN ANIMAL FROM A PARKED VEHICLE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS OR IN THE PARKING ARES, THE CLUB OR ITS MEMBERS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE INVOLVED.
- PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOU AND YOUR DOGS.
- MUST FILL OUT LIABILITY FORM FOR EWE-TOPIA.
