Featuring blockbuster musical arrangements bythe composer and lyricist team Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, this third concert in the Philharmonic Pops Series is a stirring tributeto the team who changed the history of musical theaterwith the release of LES MISERABLES over 25 years ago. Joining the Oklahoma City Philharmonic is the Oklahoma City University Chamber Choir along with Broadway notables Kathy Voytko, Ben Crawford, Jennifer Paz, Eric Kunze, and Marie Zamora. Zamora, originated the role of Cosette in the original Paris production of Les Misérables, and Mr. Crawfordhas appeared in several Broadway productions,most notablyShrek: The Musical and Les Miserables.Susan Webb Marketing Director for the Philharmonic, says,“We are thrilled to partner with this renowned creative team,bringin the Oklahoma City University Chamber Choir, and together with our Philharmonic musicians, provide a stunning New York caliber concert experience for our community, without the need to buy an airline ticket.”
