DMX SUBSIDIARY EQUATOR ONE SECURES TWO SOFTWARE PROJECTS

-Group confident that Equator One is on track to exceed profit target for FY2004

Singapore, May 31, 2004 – DMX Technologies Group Limited (“DMX” or “the Group”), a system architect that designs and implements comprehensive network solutions, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Equator One continues to win new deals for its flagship product, MAX Infrastructure Management Suite (“MAX”).

Equator One has clinched two separate contracts from telecommunications service providers (“telcos”) in Malaysia to provide monitoring and management functions for their Wireless Broadband and Internet Protocol services.

Commented Mr Giang Phung, CEO of DMX, “Equator One has been successfully making inroads into new markets with MAX, which is a cost-effective all-in-one integrated IT management solution that enables telcos to offer customers high levels of service. These two new contracts add value to DMX as it reinforces our footing in one of our target business segments and geographical markets – the telco industry in Malaysia.

Equator One is well on track to exceed its profit target of S$908,000 for FY2004 and we are confident that it is shaping up to be an acquisition with the potential to act as another important catalyst of growth for DMX.”

DMX acquired Equator One in December last year to tap on its product development expertise, established base of customers and expansive distribution network.

MAX product gaining wider acceptance in Malaysia

One of the projects secured by Equator One in Malaysia is to support the Wireless Broadband (“Wi-Fi”) service of a telco there. For this project, Equator One will deploy its MAX solution to monitor the telco’s Wi-Fi service at its “Hot-Spot” locations and improve the availability of its wireless service.

MAX improves service availability by solving the problems associated with the current network set-up which requires physical investigation prior to the diagnoses and resolution of network glitches and irregularities. This is a major drawback currently faced by wireless service providers in meeting end user requirements and guaranteeing high service levels to customers.

In addition, Equator One’s MAX was also selected over other competing solutions by one of the leading Internet Service Providers (“ISP”) in Malaysia. With MAX, the ISP will be able to measure the performance of its Internet Protocol services and produce regular reports for its corporate clientele to enhance customer satisfaction, as well as to meet regulatory requirements.

MAX will provide the ISP with information for network planning and expansion purposes by monitoring the broadband traffic on its network and measuring network performance parameters such as loading information.

These two new Equator One contracts are not expected to contribute significantly to the Group’s earnings for the financial year ending December 31, 2004.
