DENVER -- The Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of REALTORS® (DMCAR) honored itstop commercial real estate producers of 2016 in land, industrial, multi-family, office, investment, retail, and small office broker categories at the association’s annual Heavy Hitters Awards.
In addition, DMCAR recognized its Young Broker of Denver, Top Landlord companies in the office, retail and industrial categories and paid tribute to CBRE First Vice President Paul Kluckas its Broker of the Year.
A dedicated and passionate outdoor enthusiast, Kluck spent 2016 as his “Go Year,” planning and enjoying lengthy trips that ranged from a month in Australia to hut trips through Tazmania and the Northwest coast, heli-skiing in Canada and numerous climbs across Colorado 14ers with family and friends. And, along the ride, he also managed to make it a “Go Year” in professional production as well, delivering career-best results for his clients through a diverse range of industrial and logistics sales and lease agreements across the metro area.
“It’s hard to think of another individual in our community that has given so much, specifically to the DMCAR organization,” said DMCAR CEO Katie Kruger. “When Paul was president, more than a decade ago, he was instrumental in putting in place the key services that DMCAR still uses as the platform to benefit the commercial community in Colorado today. He is one of those people that wholeheartedly embraces our commercial community.”
Outside of his personal portfolio of deal-making successes, Kluck has always demonstrated an unmatched dedication to the commercial real estate profession through his
leadership positions and support of DMCAR, SIOR, BOMA and other organizations that help shape the industry. In addition, Kluck takes great pride in the mentoring role he has openly embraced.
“Paul is a rare find,” said Pete Schippits, senior managing director and market leader for CBRE in Colorado where Kluck has worked since 2006. “Down to earth and unpretentious, he has continually evolved with the business, which is why he has quietly achieved success year after year. Without any expectations, he has mentored dozens of young professionals and has served as a driving force in promoting culture and camaraderie at CBRE.”
