Dixie Blue Farm Sales Contract

Our sales policy helps you know what to expect when buying a goat from us.Your purchase includes our assistance. If unable to help, we will do our best to locate resources for you. We want happy buyers! Talk to us if you have a problem.
DEPOSIT/PAYMENT: $50 deposit reserves a goat. When you send deposit, it acts as your signature and indicates you read and agree to sales policy terms.You have five (5) calendar days from deposit receipt date to cancel without penalty. After this time, deposit is non-refundable.You will receive a contract after deposit is received.Full payment required at pickup. We accept cash, credit or Paypal (send to , select friends/family option). Checks accepted for deposits only.
PICKUP: We want a goat to join your family in the best condition possible. The tentative ready date is the earliest possible pickup date (8 weeks of age). It is an estimate only. We take into account a goat’s individual personality and weaning ability before scheduling a firm pickup date (8-12 weeks of age).
Missed Pickup: If you do not contact us before missing a scheduled pickup, you may be charged a $2 per day boarding fee until the goat is picked up. If you miss pickup and do not communicate with us for fifteen (15) calendar days, we may re-list the goat for sale. We will attempt to contact you by phone, email, and regular mail prior to relisting goat.
REGISTRATION: Price includes initial registration in either ADGA or AGS. At pickup, you receive certificate and transfer paperwork; plus, registration paperwork for other registries. All our goats can be triple registered (ADGA, AGS, and NDGA).
BUY-BACK OPTION: To keep a manageable herd size, we do sell goats we wish to keep. If you decide to sell, please allow us first opportunity to buy back the goat.
​GUARANTEES
Health: Goats get stressed with change of environment and feed which can bring on runny nose, coughs, colds, stool changes, worms, and other issues. Due to this, we cannot guarantee health after leaving our farm. To help the transition, we provide immune booster and wormer (if needed, based on fecal test) before goat leaves. If you needtests or health certificates, we can assist in obtaining but you are responsible for all fees, payable in advance, to veterinarian providing services.
Growth/Fertility: Genetics are not a perfect science. We cannot guarantee future size, show ability, milk production, pregnancy success, and appearance. A doe sold as possibly bred received service, but pregnancy is not guaranteed. If a mature goat is sterile, we may offer full or partial refund or exchange according to original sale price. You must provide veterinarian documentation confirming infertility is due to defect, not age.Registration certificates must be returned for full refund or exchange. Travel expenses for return/exchange is not reimbursed.

No further guarantees are expressed or implied. Guarantees void if animal neglected or proper care not provided. No fertility guarantee on non-registered animals. Guarantee applies only to original purchaser.
