- Catalog Description:
New: Designed to develop touch-typing on alphabetic and numeric keyboards. Students master the basic keyboard found on the computer.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for enrollment in ENGL 003 or higher or ENGL 002 with a grade of C or higher.

The students will learn to use proper techniques, key the letters, numbers, and symbols by touch. Using proper techniques, the student will key straight copy for five minutes at 30 gross words a minute (gwam) with good accuracy. The student will develop proofreading and editing skills.
