From the Desk of the Principal

Happy Tuesday and welcome back from a long weekend! Hopefully everyone has had a chance to rest and get better from all of the illnesses that have been traveling through our halls. Our staff is doing our best to disinfect our classrooms multiple times per day and we are encouraging good hygiene practices with the students. Please be sure to monitor your own children for fevers and other symptoms and keep them home as necessary. This should help to reduce the spread of illnesses.

Be sure to mark your calendars for our annual Open House, Spaghetti Dinner, and Game Night- February 1st from 5:00-6:30. Stop in and enjoy and meal & stay for the games! Yours in Faith, Lynn Sauer

Carla Schommer- 2nd Grade Teacher

Favorite Bible quote: “God sometimes takes us into troubled waters, not to drown us, but to cleanse us.”

Favorite teaching quote: “Listen to understand, not to just reply.”

This is my 4th year teaching at DSCS (Rosemary School) I went to college at Cardinal Stritch University

The best thing about teaching is: I like to compare it to an ice cream cone. Guiding a child to grow their knowledge and compassion about the world is the cone. Helping a child strengthen their relationship with God is the ice cream. All the hugs, smiles, and laughter are the sprinkles on top.

I have been married for a little over a year to my amazing husband Jon. We have 8 fish and hopefully a dog sometime in the near future. My parents are Mike and Lori Paulus and I have 3 siblings: Andy, Becky, and Tiffany. I grew up in Fredonia and sat in the very seats that my students sit in today.

Favorite: Color-green Food- Mac and Cheese balls from the Cheesecake Factory Subject- history

Hobby- Playing volleyball, 4-H, DIY projects, Hiking, Biking, Traveling, Driving my moped Sport-volleyball
