Disney World Project

Item1: Budget

Two years ago, you put $500 in a bank account that earns 4% simple interest. Determine your total budget for the trip.

Item2: Shopping

Recall that a ticket to the park costs $120, and that you must buy at least one item from each store. You may buy more items if you like. Your work should show the original price and the discounted price (you can use method 1 or 2 from our examples in Lesson 6).

Item3: Meals

You must eat both lunch and dinner while you’re at the park. For each meal, be sure to include tax and tip.

Item 4: Percent Error

What is your total spending for the day? How close did you come to your budget? Calculate the percent error.
