Farm the Land, 13 January – 28 March - Working with Lincolnshire Archives, this fascinating exhibition explores farming through the ages. With lots of historical information and memorabilia together with recollections from local farmers, the exhibition will take you on a trip down memory lane.

Coming next to the Roof Gallery: Black Sheep – the darker side of felt, 8 March to 11 May, 10am-5pm - This exhibition is an exploration of the edgier side of this extraordinary, versatile and often overlooked material, looking at artists who create sometimes disturbing and bizarre oddities and technically brilliant objects.

Series: Life Drawing, 1 March, 10am-4pm - Perfect for all from beginners to practiced artists, you’ll develop the skills of observation and drawing so necessary to the artist. A range of materials and a limited number of easels will be available, but please bring along your own supplies if you’d like to use something specific - £18 per person

NCCD Young Designers, 1 March, 10am-1pm – this is your chance to work with amazing artists and designers to explore craft and design, develop your skills and confidence, have special access to exhibitions, and create your own designs to be exhibited at the NCCD. Age guide: 12 to 19 years - £5 per session.

Hub Writers/Unplugged, 4 March - Musicians and writers – it’s a potent mix, so let the creativity, music and performance flow! Join the Hub Writers and musicians of Unplugged as they make The NCCD their home on the first Tuesday of each month - Free

Felt Finger Puppets, 8 March, 1pm-4.30pm & 9 March 10am-1pm- how to make felted finger puppets based on small British mammals. You will learn both wet felting and needle felting techniques and everyone should end up with a lively felt sculpture - £12 per person

Design Factory Coffee Morning, 10 March - A meeting of minds plus cake and coffee - join Design Factory, artists and makers on the second Monday of each month for an informal chat about all things creative - Free

Press and PR, 11 March, 10am-4pm - Led by Fiona Mitchell-Innes of Culture Business, this workshop will teach you the tricks of trade used by Public Relations (PR) professionals and demonstrate how you can apply them to your own practice - Design Factory members Free, non-members £25 / £22 concs, inc light refreshments, booking required.

Beginners Sewing Club, 14, 21 & 28 March, 10am-2pm - A fun, informal and sociable club that is ideal for both beginners and the more experienced. Learn to design and make fabric bags, tackle buttonholes and linings and take the fear out of zips. Please bring your own sewing machine if you have one. Basic materials will be provided - £8 per person or £22 if all 3 sessions booked in advance.

Design Factory Demonstration- Rachel Elliott, 15 March, 1pm-4pm – Meet some of the artists and makers behind our selected crafts. Rachel Elliott specializes in kiln-formed glass, using traditional and innovative techniques. Elliott creates unique precision-cut silhouette glass creatures, adorning them with designs in permanent enamels – Free

Felt Toys/Creatures, 22 March, 1pm-4pm - Using wet felting techniques and resists, this three-hour family workshop will teach you how to design and make an almost seamless felt toy to stuff and decorate. Wool fibers and embroidery thread will be provided. Participants are invited to bring along any additional decorations they would like to use, for example ribbons or buttons - £12 per person.

Silver Wrap Rings, 29 March, 10.30am-4pm – learn to make and embellish silver rings using a range of different skills and techniques. This workshop is ideal for those who love silver jewellery and want to try their hand at producing original pieces to wear or to give to family and friends - £58 pp plis £10-£15 for silver on the day, booking required

Dinky Designers, 25 March, 10.30am to 2pm -Little ones under 5 love our fun craft and design sessions run by early years practitioner and professional glass artist Emma Mayle. Each month they will be encouraged to explore one of our inspiring exhibitions, followed by lots of messy and creative play - £3.50 per child

The Nettles Volunteer Group, 17 March, 10am-3pm – a group that meets on a regular basis to cultivate, maintain and enhance a public piece of land called ‘The Nettles’ in Sleaford. Additionally, the group provides and shares creative and conservational skills to its members and the local community – Free
