Imphal, the 28th March, 2018
No.I-489(85)/IND/2016: This notice is issued for information of all concerned and public in general that Awareness and Registration camp for Zero Effect, Zero Defect (ZED) will be organized by Directorate of Trade, Commerce & Industries, Government of Manipur in association with Quality Council of India from 9th to 16th April, 2018 in the following districts of Manipur. In this regard the General Managers of respective District Industries Centre as indicated below shall organize the camps in consultation with the Deputy Commissioners concerned as per the date and schedule below:-

The objective of the awareness & registration camp are:-
(i)To ensure Zero Defect practices by MSMEs in their manufacturing and also to ensure Zero Effect on the environment while manufacturing.
(ii)All manufacturing MSMEs are invited along with their UAM/EM-II/SSI Certificate, valid email id and mobile number to participate and register their manufacturing units under the ZED Certification Scheme.
(iii)As the Ministry of MSME has notified a scheme called ‘Financial Support to MSMEs in ZED Certification Schemes’ which was launched in October 2016 with the objective to enhance competiveness, provide financial support, rating and handholding, in manufacturing process the awareness camps are imperative.
