Directions for Gym Availability Form
1. Load the file called LakelandGymForm-2013-2014.doc It will open as read-only
2. Save the file as your club name. File/Save As Your_Club.doc
This will remove the read-only status and allow you to save and submit your work.
3. Schedule should have the format similar to the screen shot below.
4. Click on View/Header and screen should look like this. Type club name in header.
Click on Switch between header and footer when you are finished.
5. Type various information in the footer. Most of the information is self explanatory.
Here you can enter the full gym name (make sure the Lakeland league has directions to all your venues) – put abbreviations in parentheses after the gym name to include in the schedule itself. Example: Valley View (VV).
Under comments, you might want to enter any pertinent information of a general nature. Example: 7th grade can’t play any Monday games because of CCD.
Specific information can be entered directly in the schedule itself. More on that later! Example: Player has a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday December 15th
Click close when you are finished.
Click close to exit the footer and you should be back to the next page where you can actually edit the information that the league scheduler needs.
6. In the box to the left of the number, type in the gym name – use abbreviations that you entered in the footer. In the big box beneath the gym name and date, enter the times – AM and PM are not necessary. If you have more than one gym, type the second gym name beneath the first with the times for the 2nd gym. If you have a specified order for grade levels, include that as well. If there are dates that are bad because of various commitments, type a small memo in the big box.
When you have finished the process, save the file again and attach it in an email to the league scheduler.
