THE TRUE PATH TO ERP HAPPINESS

Surveys of companies using ERP software show that 75% of users are not satisfied with the results they have achieved. The improvements expected have not been realized. The focus of a software selection typically is just that ‘the software’. Not enough attention is paid to the process of implementation and the partner that will provide implementation support. It is critical to fit the implementation methodology and resources to your company’s strengths and weaknesses in order to have a successful project. In this presentation, we will discuss the questions that must be asked and answered to determine the implementation approach that will result in an implementation that meets expectations for performance improvement.

June 2013 – Member Appreciation Night.

Join us at the ballpark for a B-Mets game. Details to follow.

Southern Tier Chapter wins an award from APICS!

We did it again!

Your Southern Tier Chapter of APICS has won an award from APICS in the certification category in the 2013 – 1Q Chapter Incentive Program.

The Chapter Incentives Program recognizes chapters for the increased presence of APICS in the their local markets. The first quarter 2013 winners have been selected based on reporting in the categories of APICS certification, APICS Bookstore sales activity, newe member acquisition and member retention. This award also qualifies for points in the Chapter Benchmarking and Reporting Program (CBAR), which ensures that local chapters maintain operational standards.

(Chapters are compared to other chapters of similar size.)

Our chapter will receive a $25 APICS bookstore gift certificate as an award. OK, it’s not much, but it shows that our local chapter isn’t using your membership dues to send the Board of Directors to Bimini.

Any questions on this award (or anything else), please feel free to contact any of the Board of Directors.
