OBJECTIVES:

For the purpose to improve communication efficiency, to enhance internal administration and control as well as to simplify classification for performance evaluation, the coding system shall be established per the following rules.

REMARKS:

  1. Station Code shall include 1st, 2nd & 3rd tier office as long as with sales function, but not airport office, shipping warehouse and/or logistics warehouse unless where an independent legal entity is established, such as DILSHA.

(Note: DILHKG is not applicable to this rule due to DILHKG is an existing exception.)

  1. New Station Coding Structure for the last 3-Letter code:
  2. New Station Code should not be applied in conflict with existing Station Code being used in Dimerco and/or IATA City or Airport Codes.
  3. If there is no IATA City or Airport Code available, Ocean Port Code can be applied.
  4. If there is no IATA City, Airport Code or no Ocean Port Code available, proper local code can be applied.
  5. If the new code to apply is duplicated with our existing code and/or IATA City or Airport Code, the first 2 letters of IATA City or Airport Code + the first letter of the city name shall be used to apply.

Ex. LFT for both LAFAYETTE in LA, US and NEW IBERIA in LA, US in IATA City or Airport Codes, then

 LFT for LAFAYETTE

 LFN for NEW IBERIA (Note: LFN is not duplicated to other IATA City or Airport Codes.)

(Note: DIMKSN, DIMSUZ, ZJDFNG, ZJDFON & DFSNBO are not applicable to this rule due to they are the existing exception.)

  1. Station Code for the representative offices (3rd tier office) in Japan and India as below:

 DIMMAA for Dimerco Representative Office in Chennai, India

  1. New Company Code and Station Code shall be proposed by Regional Head, District Head or Country Head to CRP HR & CRP Marketing of Corporate Office (CRP) for approval before formal announcement is to be made.
  2. In the meantime, “Standard Company or Station Code for Dimerco value plus system” will be updated synchronously and announced separately.
