DATES June 15-18 at Smiley Park 9:00 – 11:30
CAMP GOALS
This camp will be designed for each camper to have an enjoyable experience through working on the fundamentals of baseball, including hitting, pitching, and fielding. The camp will help teach these fundamentals through a variety of hands on drills. Players will be encouraged to take the skills learned at camp and use them in the current baseball season.
TEACHING STAFF
The Van Wert High School Baseball staff with varsity coach Charlie Witten will direct the camp. Van Wert High School baseball players will assist each day. Each camper will have the opportunity to work closely with the entire staff and players. Campers will receive individual and group instruction.
FEE & REGISTRATION
The fee for the camp will be $40. A second family member fee is $30. Please make checks payable to Van Wert Baseball. Registration forms should be turned in by June 11 . Forms can be turned in at the high school office, addressed to Charlie Witten, Van Wert High School or mailed directly to Coach Witten at Van Wert High School, 10708 St. Rt. 118. No student will be denied, if you are in need of financial assistance, contact Coach Witten for confidential help.
