Key Club Scholarship

The Dianne Miller Memorial Key Club Scholarship is now awarding scholarships to (2) qualified high school senior Key Club members who demonstrate community service involvement and excellence in academics.

Dianne was a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of Bloomingdale-Roselle founded in 2013. She was a regular participant and organizer in service projects and fundraisers for the community. In addition, she served as the Kiwanis Advisor for the Builders Club at Springwood Middle School for 2 years before becoming ill. Her 3 children all graduated from Lake Park High School and she was an active volunteer for both the Medinah School District and LPHS. She devoted countless hours to the Relay for Life, Boy Scouts of America, and the Midwest Color Guard for over 45 years as a coach, mentor, and committee member. Dianne chaired several committees and fundraisers.

This scholarship in Dianne’s memory is to help foster caring and community minded students as they pursue their academic advancement.

The scholarships will be awarded to (2) qualified high school seniors of the Lake Park High SchoolKey Club. Membership for the entire 2017/18 academic year is a requirement. The scholarships are for post-secondary education at any accredited college, university, or vocational school. This application is for a scholarship in the amount of five hundred ($500.00) dollars and is paid directly to the educational institution you will be attending this fall on a full-time basis.

Scholarships will be reviewed by the application review committee, and winners notified by April 30th.
