Diane Patterson Seminar

Diane will be instructing in the arena at the Lisbon Country Stables

Friday evening, September 22, 2017

SNEAK is delighted to welcome Diane Patterson as a presenter for our seminar and workshop series.

A CT native and resident, Diane first earned success as a nationally ranked archer. She hung up her bow in 2003 and picked up the sport of dog agility, to encourage confidence in a dog she rescued. Diane’s goal was to learn a little, have fun and compete on occasion. Her first-ever dog agility competition was at SNEAK’s trial in April 2004, with Vee, her rescued Belgian Laekenois. Since then, Diane has trained 3 more dogs for agility, earning 20 Championship titles in AKC, USDAA, UKI and NADAC along the way. Familiar with various handling systems and their application on courses, Diane’s personal philosophy of “Make it Happen” is helping her to gain a reputation as an effective sports results trainer. She works to build confidence and the mindset needed to be successful in sports and life with students. Her belief has helped her become a multiple AKC National Agility Championship and Cynosports Finalist, win a spot on both the 2016 AKC World Team and 2015 US UKI Team, 3rd Place in Cynosports Grand Prix and 1st place at the 2016 Westminster Masters Agility Championship with Cruzer Patterson, her sheltie who was her mentor in living life with strength, courage and gratefulness.

Coursework presented by Diane will be geared for Masters, yet is suitable for dogs who are competing or getting ready to compete at novice and above. Diane will modify the handling and skills as needed to ensure success of each team working with her.
