  • RR is investigating Charity Status
  • Most Class Reps are in place.
  • First Aid – Tanya, Marilou and Charlie have agreed to cover the Xmas Fayre.
RR to contact Marilou about First Aid Kit. First Aid Point to be allocated. KM to produce signage for the day. Tanya to ask EC to make request in newsletter.
  • Stewart investigated stretched canvas – The Duke used sails and adapted them.
  • SH to inform KM of prices for Xmas Fayre signs.
  • KM has applied for TENS.

3 / Xmas Fayre – 28th November 2015, 12 - 4pm
  • Nursery – Sweets (Sarah/Leah)
  • Reception – 2 Bouncy Castles (TOS to source 2nd one)
  • Year 1 – Facepainting (Lisa) and Games (Andrew - Spinning wheel to be fixed – access needed)
  • Year 2 – Crafts (Sarah)
  • Year 3 – International Kitchen (Kat and Nora) PTA to buy big dishes requested (circa £50 each) Advertise for volunteers to provide food to sell. PTA can pay for outgoings.
  • Year 4 – Santa’s Grotto (Jude and Monica). 5m x 4m thick black fabric needed (KM to ask Sharon for advise/TOS to investigate from Green St). Donations of red cushions or similar appropriate decorations requested. More Santas needed! Time slots to be offered in advance to those volunteering to help at the Fayre as a thank you and during the first hour of the day. £3 a ticket.
  • Year 5 – Toys (TOD/SH/KM) TOS to go in to Assembly to ask for donations
and Baubles (Sharon – also decorating Hall/some stalls)
  • Year 6 – Coconuts (Jim)
  • Teachers – Front door/Raffle/Bottle Tombola. SH to confirm with EC.
  • Churros/Hot Chocolate (Dave – International kitchen?)
  • Katherine and Rose – Tea/Coffee
  • Ambassadors – Nails Painting
  • Y6 – Beat the Goalie (SH to buy footballs)
  • Popcorn – Stewart/TOS to find volunteers
  • Go Karts –Joe/Justin/Jeff + other Dad’s to man. Volunteers needed.
  • BBQ – Wayne to sort volunteers(Darwin).TOS to source food from Barry’s Meat Market
  • Bar – Liam to confirm?
  • Friday Set up and Saturday Set up and Clearing up time slots to be allocated
  • Choir (SH to investgate)
  • Music – DH/SH. KM to ask Aine
  • External Stalls £20 – SH to advertise on FB
  • SH to organise spreadsheet of the cost/profit for each stall
  • Non-uniform day on Friday 27th November. Bottles and Junior Bake off cakes to be donated.
  • Raffle to be drawn at Xmas Plays
  • TOS and Rebecca to produce letter for bookbags
  • John to produce poster for noticeboard

  • More specific stall information for each year group to be provided from Form Teachers?
  • Class rep photos to be posted via Class Dojo?
  • DH to do Costco run – SH to confirm shopping list (eg. tubs of sweets for Y1 Games)

  • Advert in OLOL/St Anne Line’s Church bulletins KMS?

  • Sports clubs request – TOS.
  • EC has agreed to school being used on Tuesdays after school, Mornings for “Wake and Shake”
  • PTA voted and agreed unanimouslyin principle to fund £3000 “contingency” for booking coaches (which would then be reimbursed by parents’ fee towards events).TOS to book, arrange, invite pupils to activities.
  • Miss O’Driscoll has also made a bid for sports equipment.
  • PTA suggestions included multi-sport flooring in part of the playground, Y5/6 football/netball teams training in Wanstead Park.
  • Chairs thanked TOS for all her hard work in driving this initiative forward.
/ Wayne to investigate cost of providing Flood lights.
