Discussion

Employment development: The 2015 Community Business Pattern (CBP) data is not yet available. 2015 employment data is available through the QCEW and NETS datasets, but need to understand the importance of the CBP data and if it is worthwhile to compress the review schedule to wait for the 2015 dataset. Also need to explore whether the process could be conducted on MAZ geographies, rather than census blocks. A recommended approach will be presented for RTTAC-MS approval at the meeting next week.

Model Usability Plan: The Model Usability plan will be presented for approval by the RTTAC-MS in the next meeting. The Model Documentation and Training plan is the next deliverable and will be developed as a slide-doc (annotated slides) to facilitate discussion and feedback.

Data needs: The data needs and availability table has been updated to reflect the latest uploads. CS is currently reviewing the Miami-Dade SE data and will send comments. Palm Beach is continuing to develop their SE dataset. Need to follow up with Broward county on the SE data status.

Traffic Counts: Miami-Dade is preparing their traffic count data, which will include stations that have come online in 2016. Therefore, these stations do not have any historical data and outliers in the count data cannot be identified using the same methods as stations with historical data. The new count stations are primarily in the western suburbs and south.
