The 1stInvitational All India Police & Para Military Forces Karate Championship was held on 8th February, 2014 in a very colorful manner by Delhi Police Karate/Self Defence Academy at Community Centre, New Police Lines, Kingsway Camp, Delhi which was inaugurated by the president of the academy Sh. Deepak Mishra, IPS, Spl. CP/Law & Order. Vice president Sh. Norbu Tshering, DCP 1ST BN. , Secretary Sh, Rakesh Pal, President Delhi Olympic Association Sh. Kuldeep Vats declared the games opened. A total No. of eight different teams including Delhi Police, Punjab Police, Rajasthan Police, National Security Guards, Indo Tibetan Boarder Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Jammu & Kashmir Police, Army (Raj-Rifle) and Haryana Police participated in the championship and medals were awarded in seven male as well as four female categories. The medals wereawarded in the winners by Sh. Norbu Tshering, DCP/1st BN. Delhi Police got One Gold, Four Silver and Three Bronze, Haryana Police bagged highest medal in the Championship.

DESPERATE ROBBER PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN TWO CASES NABBED.

Highlights:-

  • Alert police staff nabbed a robber red handed.
  • One robbed Mobile Phone recovered.

With the arrest of a desperate robber namely Ajay @ Munna (aged-22) s/o Om Parkash r/o RZ-332, Gali No. 14, Mahavir Enclave, New Delhi, police personal of PS Dwarka South worked out a case of robbery. Robbed Mobile Phone and knife used in commission of crime recovered.

INCIDENT

Complainant Rahul reported that he is plying three wheeler in the area of Dwarka. In the morning of 10.02.2014 he was waiting for passengers at Sec. 2, Dwarka, where a person came and asked his mobile for making call. Since there was no sufficient balance in the mobile, he turned down his request. Upon this the person became irritate and took him rear side of the three wheeler where he robbed his mobile on the point of knife. He gathered his wits and raised an alarm. After seeing commotion, PCR staff namely ASI Rambir 6368-PCR, Ct. Surender 10275/PCR and ASI (Dvr.)Charanjit 6222/PCR present in the area came at the spot and overpowered the robber. Snatched Mobile Phone recovered from his possession. Upon this, a case vide FIR No. 65/14 u/s 394/411 IPC has been registered at Police Station Dwarka South and investigation has been taken up in right earnest.

INTERROGATION

During sustained interrogation, he confessed his involvement in robbery. He disclosed that he lived lavish life style and needed extra money as his earning from casual labour could not finance his luxuries, thus he indulge in robbery case and bankroll his expensive habbit. .

PROFILE OF ARRESTED ACCUSED

Ajay @ Munna (aged-22) s/o Om Parkash r/o RZ-332, Gali No. 14, Mahavir Enclave, New Delhi, is an illiterate. Accused is unmarried and his parents were expired in his early age. He has been residing with his elder brother who has no control over his nefarious activities. He has following previous involvements

  1. FIR No. 218/10 dt. 09.07.10 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Dabri
  2. FIR No. 460/08 dt. 16.08.08 u/s 399/402 IPC PS Dabri.

PROPERTY RECOVERED

One robbed mobile phone.

Further investigation of the case is in progress. Police personnel involved in this good work are being suitably rewarded.

TWO ROBBERS NABBED.

CASE OF A BLIND ROBBERY WORKED OUT WITHIN SHORT SPAN OF TIME.

ROBBED PURSE AND CASH RECOVERED.

Staff of P.S. Kapashera has arrested two desperate robbers viz 1) Surender (aged-20 yrs.) s/o Mahavir r/o VPO Agera PS Khurja, UP 2) Sonu Raj (aged-20 yrs.) s/o Sunil r/o VPO Badchi PO Fatehpur, Distt. GayaBihar. Robbed purse and cash recovered.

INCIDENT

Complainant Shri Shakti Singh reported that in the intervening night of 07/08.02.2014, he was returning to his house after winding up day’s work from MGF mall. At about 1.40 AM when he reached near Fun & Food, three persons came from rear and waylaid him. They physically assaulted upon him and shown some sort of weapon. Accused persons robbed purse containing cash and managed to flee from the spot. Upon this, a case under relevant sections of law was registered vide FIR No. 46/14 at PS Kapashera and investigation was taken up in right earnest.

TIP OFF AND OPERATION

In order to early breakthrough, a dedicated team of P.S Dwarka South comprising SI Paramjeet, HC Giri Raj, Ct. Rakesh, Ct. Tara Chand, Ct. Sharvan & Ct. Om Parkash, under the supervision of Inspr. Dinesh Kumar, SHO/Kapashera was constituted. The team scanned past records of hundreds of criminals involved in robbery cases all over Delhi and neighboring states.

It was huge effort on part of the members of above mentioned special team who, after a lot of ground and discreet surveillance two robbers namely Surender & Sonu were nabbed within short span of period.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

Accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation and revealed that they are good friends and have liquor in the evening together. They also spilled the beans that they belong to the poor strata of the society and in order to earn quick buck they resort to crime.

Further startling facts that duo are residing in the boarder area of Delhi, so that police may not keep surveillance over their activities.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS.

  1. Surender (aged-20 yrs.) s/o Mahavir r/o VPO Agera PS Khurja, UP is an illiterate and is unmarried. He is working as a labourer at a poultry farm.
  2. Sonu Raj (aged-20 yrs.) s/o Sunil r/o VPO Badchi PO Fatehpur, Distt. Gaya Bihar is a school drop-out of 10th class and is unmarried. He is working at his own Kiryana shop with his father at Gurgaon, Haryana.

RECOVERY

  1. One robbed purse & cash

Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to affect more recovery and to ascertain their involvements in other cases. Staff involved in good work will be suitably rewarded.

MODULE OF ILLEGAL WATER TANKERS BUSTED

Highlights:-

DRIVE AGAINST ILLEGAL WATER TANKER MAFIAS.

TWO CASES REGISTERED.

EIGHT PERSONS ARRESTED.

SIX WATER TANKERS CONSFICATED.

Staff of South West District have arrested eight persons viz. 1) Ram Sajan Paswan s/o Ram Dular Paswan 2) Ram Avtar s/o Vijay Bahadur3) Ram Briksh Yadav s/o Mahender Yadav4)Bambam Choudhary s/o Manikant Choudhary 5) Rattan Singh s/o Hari Krishan 6) Karan Adhikar s/o Late Chander Adhikari 7) Uday Yadav s/o Sadhu Sarang and 8) Pravesh Kumar s/o Srichand Yadav, who are indulged in the supply of illegal water.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

In order to put a check on the illegal trade of extracting water from the agricultural fields, a dedicated team led by Inspr. K.S.N. Subudhi (Inspr./Vigilance) and Sh. Dinesh Kumar Gupta (Addl. DCP) was constituted under the supervision of Ms Suman Goyal, DCP / South West Distt. On 08/02/14 on the basis of covert enquiry in the context of mafia involved in illegal theft of ground water, a raid was conducted at Ganda Nala, Opposite Chhawla, Dwarka Road and Sector-24 Dwarka, where six illegal bores were found. Three tankers, 01 generator (big), electric wires and water pipes were confiscated from the spot and 06 accused persons were arrested. Upon this,a Case vide FIR No. 64/14 Dt: 08/02/14 U/s 379/413/120(B) IPC and 5(15) E.P.Act was registered at P. S.Dwarka-Sec23 and investigation taken up in right earnest.

Further surveillance over the activities of illegal bore wells and supply of water extracting from the agricultural fields was kept continued by the above team. On dt.11/02/14 the team further conducted a raid at Bada Ganda Nalla(Chawla Nehar) Chhawla, Dwarka Road Sector-2 where 05 points having 14 (10+4) illegal bore wells were found and 02 big generators, 11 starters, wires and water pipes were seized.

Upon this a separate FIR vide FIR NO.71/14 Dt: 11/02/14 U/s 379/413/120(B) IPC and 5(15) E.P.Act PS.Dwarka-Sec23, New Delhi was registered and the investigation taken up in right earnest.
