Francis Hendrickson first appears in NC records in 1685 and had apparently been there for several years. He was naturalized a British Subject in 1697. Questions remain in document. Mention is made of a George Kendrick as possible patriarch of some of Hendricks in NC. This may be early hypothesis later discarded. Also, relationships between Hendrickson of NC and Pike's of Mass and NJ may exist and deserve further exploration according to Dr. Davenport.
