1. Introduction :

Conventional graphic design course is focused on print medium and related graphic design areas such as corporate identity, typography, editorial design, advertisement and packaging design. However, current digital technology has been developed rapidly and realm of design is increasingly broaden into computer-generated imagery and sound, web design, animation, 3D graphic and film design and so on. Visual communication and multimedia design course is based on those combination of design areas and aims to produce professional designer who has a good communication skills in a complex multi-media period.

The Graduate Program of Visual Communication Design Course is composed of one common Research Track and two selective Studio Tracks. Graphic Studio Track is mainly for the creation based on graphic design, and Motion & Interactive Studio Track is based on motion or Interactive design. In addition, seminar-oriented course for the discussion of theme of design and project–oriented course for individual and group are provided in the Research Track and Studio Tracks.
