  1. Announcements
  • Website – Department Chair Website is active and up to date
  • Catalog blurbs – deadline was March 5, to be submitted to Stefanie Ulrey; CORs to be added to catalog are due March 19, to be submitted to Robert Brem
  • Bookstore deadlines – deadlines pending for both summer and fall semester
  • More? – exact amounts for equipment requisitions are due by March 18. Classified staff will be available to help do requisitions

  • Late Census Rosters – violates TitleV and results in negative audit with Accreditation.
  • Clarification of W vs. NS – no more grade changes for these will be approved.
  • Grades must be turned in on time! Late grade submissions do a major disservice to our students and are a violation of PFT agreement. Consequences for not turning grades in on time or not submitting syllabi will be tougher in future. Chairs requested a formalized process for submitting syllabi be put in place.
  • Drop Policy – put on syllabi, as long as it does not violate catalog policy
  • AA-T degrees – there are new TMC templates to use
  • Computer Rollout – starting soon with Open Access areas & labs. Look for email with specifics: 2 choices in laptop models and 1 in desktop. Samples will be available to see in Division Office this afternoon. Chairs should get requests from faculty (look for spreadsheet via email); nonstandard models need justification for request. Full time faculty will get new models, and old models will be revamped for part time faculty.

  • There are 2 additional scholarship awards not included in recent list. Both are available through Business Dept. and have same deadlines as others.
