In2009,DenplaninvitedProfessorHienNgo,atthattimeworking inSingaporeandtheforemostexponentofMIdentistry,tospeakattheDenplanNationalConference.Theinterestwasso greatthatProfessorBanerjee,whowasalsopresent,offeredtorunthefirstseriesofclinicaldaysonMIdentistryintheUKin2011.Theseweresosuccessfulthatfurther coursescontinuedinto2012, supportedbypartnersincluding Oral-BandGCUK.

Alreadyapassionateadvocateof minimuminterventionmethods, ProfessorBanerjeewasenthused bythepossibilitiesofextendingMIintotheacademicfieldand promotingitsadvantages.The resultisatrulyuniqueandvaluable MScprogramme.
