The Financial Aid Application Process

  • After January 1, 2014 file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) electronically at listing IUPUI’s school code, 001813. The 2014-2015 FAFSA will cover the fall 2014 through summer 2015 semesters. You are considered for more types of financial aid when you file FAFSA prior to March 10th and State grant eligibility requires filing by March 10th priority deadline.
  • Watch your OneStart (onestart.iu.edu) “to do” list for requests for additional items; OneStart allows you to track your financial aid offer.
  • Students receive an award letter detailing the types of financial aid they’re eligible to receive onlyafter they have been admitted to IUSD.
