Dennis T. Tefft Memorial Foundation Scholarship.

The Dennis T. Tefft Memorial Foundation will be awarding as many as three or more scholarships, of at least one thousand dollars each to seniors in the graduating class of 2015.

New for 2015! The DTTMF Scholarship foundation will have the option of awarding additional scholarships in amounts less than one thousand dollars. The DTTMF Scholarship Foundation will also consider applications from students who were awarded the DTTMF Scholarship previously, and additional scholarships may be available for students continuing their college education.

This scholarship fund is the result of a community effort to help further the education of individuals who are planning to attend a two or four year college or technical program. This scholarship will be awarded to individuals seeking to receive further education pertaining to careers in the mechanical or agricultural trade job market.

The Scholarship was born out of an idea inspired by a brilliant man who was an inventor, self employed business man, welder and fabricator, mechanic, heavy equipment operator, antique car and tractor collector, as well as a husband, father and dear friend to many in our community.

Dennis had a gift for recognizing the potential in something that most people would overlook. He used his talent to rebuild, restore and create mechanical things from the vision he had for the finished product. He was never concerned with the apparent condition of things, and only saw what it could become.

The Dennis T. Tefft Memorial Scholarship foundation has created a scholarship that will help financially to develop the potential of students looking to further their education. This scholarship is designed to be utilized by a student who may wish to receive training in careers related to the automotive, mechanical, marine or agricultural career path.

The scholarship committee shares the vision that Dennis had, to recognize that every student has great potential to become successful.

We encourage you take the time to complete the application because it is unique in the sense that we are not concerned with academic achievements. We are interested in learning about the dreams and aspirations of the student. We wish to provide an opportunity to help the student fulfill those dreams.

Please follow the instructions in the application and keep in mind that the application must be received on or before Friday April 10th, 2015.

Thank you and we look forward to receiving your application!
