Sealed tenders for the following works on percentage rate basis are hereby invited in two parts on the prescribed format from the registered contractors of Delhi Jal Board and appropriate category with CPWD, DDA, NDMC, Who must have executed three similar nature works each of value not less than 40% of estimated cost or two similar nature works each of value not less than 50% of estimated cost or one similar nature work of value not less than 80% of estimated cost (rounded off to nearest Rs. 10.00 lacs) in the last seven yearsonly. The NIT/tender documents are available on the web site & The interested bidders can also down load the Tender document and have to follow general conditions and guidelines along with various circulars issued by DJB time to time. Annexure ‘A’, Annexure ‘B’ and other information alongwith eligibility criteria for tendering are also available on web site. Rate quoted shall hold good for 90 days from the date of opening of tender, any further information/clarification may be sought from the office of under signed.

Other information alongwith eligibility criteria for tendering

The condition of contract (subjected to change or modification from time to time) are available on the DJB Web site which will be applicable for all the works and may be down loaded for the information of the bidders and the same need not to attach with the tender. However, these shall form a part of contract documents and shall be attached at the time of entering into contract with the successful tenderer. The same can be had against payment of Rs.150/- from the office of the undersigned. Further, the deduction of Tax will be made as per D- VAT as applicable. For each item the tender should be in separate envelope. More than one item in one envelope is not entertained. Any further information/clarification may be sought from the office of under signed.

Contract documents other than the above consisting of application form (Annexure-A), tender Form (Annexure-B), Bill of quantity, Special & particulars conditions and specification of each & every work along with the Press Notification shall be available on the Web site and the same shall be down loaded by the respective bidders. Tenders of only those tenderers/contractors will accepted who have downloaded annexure A & B original form website of DJB and no photocopies will be accepted. For the contractors/tenderers, who are not equipped with the down loading of system the above documents can be had manually from the office of the undersigned. The lowest tenderer will be responsible to collect the work order for this and separate correspondence will be made. The delay in execution of work due to not collecting the work order will be on the part of the contractor.

The Tenderer/ Contractor shall put the tender fee (non refundable) and Earnest money in the shape of Demand Draft/CDR/drawn on scheduled bank in favor of Delhi Jal Board, Payable at Delhi along with application form (Annexure-A), The eligibility criteria for the contractors to be submitted in the envelop marked EARNEST MONEY (Part-A):

i) Photocopy of Registration in appropriate class of DJB.

ii) Photocopy of Valid Registration Certificate under D-VAT.

iii) Affidavit/Undertaking in respect of having not black listed/debarred in D.J.B. as well as in any govt. deptt.,

iv) Performance certificates of similar type of works issued from the concerned EEs.

v) All documents (Self attested, stamped and legible) submitted must be properly paged and number of pages must be mentioned in the appropriate place in Annexure-A.

Pay order No., date, Amount & Name of issuing Bank should be mentioned on Application for issue of tender and Tender/Financial bid consisting of tender form (Annexure-B) in separate sealed cover marked (TENDER) (Part-B). Both the envelopes shall then be put in another sealed cover. Name of work, NIT No. , Item No. , name of the participating Firm , etc. should be mentioned on all the Envelopes including Annexure - A & Annexure - B. Part-A and Part-B shall be opened as specified as above in the presence of the bidder who may like to attend. The envelope mark TENDER Part –B, however, will be opened for those, who fulfill the criteria required/ if found in order under Bid Part - A otherwise the same shall be returned unopened to the tenderer.

The envelope marked EARNEST MONEY (PART-A) shall be opened first of all for examinations on the date of receipt of tender. Part-B of the tender shall be kept sealed under the safe custody of Executive Engineer. The tender financial bid (Part-B) shall be opened on specified date only of those contractors who fulfil the criteria required under Bid Part-A if found in order fulfilling the requirements otherwise the same (Part-B of the tender) shall be returned to the tenderer unopened.

The contractors/tenderers are requested to go through the NIT/Tender documents properly/correctly before tendering and should carefully fill in all the required details in the tender forms. If the contractor fails to submit the above, the envelope (Part-A) will be rejected/cancelled as per condition mentioned above and no correspondence will be entertained. The capability/financial status, genuineness of the firm shall be checked by Engineer-in-charge before opening of Envelop-B (TENDER).

The Contractor participating in this NIT will quote the rates only for one option i.e. either for C.I. Pipe or D.I. Pipe. The lowest tendered cost with any of option shall be considered as the lowest evaluated tendered cost.

I/We have read and examined the press notification/Notice Inviting Tender, specifications of the works as applicable, General conditions. I/We hereby tender for the execution of the work specified by Delhi Jal Board within the specified time and schedule of quantities in accordance in all respects with specifications, design, drawings and instructions in writing referred to the General Conditions/Clauses of contract etc. as given in the aforesaid Para.

We agree to keep the tender rate open for 90 days from the date of its submission and not to make any modification in its terms & conditions.

We are aware that the conditional tender is liable for rejection. Delhi Jal Board has a right to reject any tender or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.
