Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarship

Students must be enrolled in an accredited education institution in the United States and have volunteer experience within the last 12 months. Student have the opportunity to earn $5,000 in awards!

AXA Achievement Scholarship

$25,000 in awards

To be eligible a student must: be US citizen or legal resident and a current high school senior who plans to enroll full-time in an accredited two or four-year college.

ACT Student Champion Scholarship

CCAP is a program available to all students in Roanoke City Public Schools and surrounding schools. To be eligible for this program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA,
  • Attend William Fleming or Patrick Henry or surrounding high schools their Junior and senior year
  • In their Senior year, students should provide:
  • Proof of residence, complete a VWCC application, successfully complete the VWCC placement test with no more than 2 remedial courses needed and complete CCAP Application.

Students can be eligible to attend Virginia Western Community College tuition FREE for two years.

2017-2018 Lee– Jackson Educational Foundation Scholarship Program

The objective of the program is to acquaint young people with the historical legacy of General Robert E. Lee and General Thomas K. Jackson. Eighteen scholarship will be awarded to Virginia high school seniors submitting outstanding, original, analytical essays on any aspect, positive or negative, of the career, character, or legacy of one of the historical figures. 2018 BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship Award

The Better Business Bureau is pleased to offer the 15th Annual Student of Integrity Scholarship Award. Winners will be awarded $1,000 for college costs and are invited, along with their parents and school officials, to attend the awards presentation dinner. The AAUW is offering up to $2,000 in scholarship awards. AAUW is a national organization that advances equality for women through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
