Dear Washington Student(s) and Parent(s):

We hope everyone had a great summer! I would like to welcome our stakeholders to the 2017-2018 school year. This year we would truly like to increase parental involvement with the Washington Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTA). The PTA meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Room 101 at 6:30 p.m. We encourage all General families to join. In addition, this year we have started a Junior Student Ambassador group. The eighth Grade students have been identified by staff as student leaders. JSA students will provide services ranging from community service projects, mentoring, and new student orientation. We are very excited to provide another vehicle to get our wonderful students involved at WMS. Finally, I am excited to announce our new staff &/or new roles at Washington Middle School.
