Dear T.E.A.M. Families:
Student Teachers:
With sadness we report that today is the last day Ms. Ping and Mrs. Rust will student teach in our classrooms. Both ladies have done an outstanding job of planning, teaching, and evaluating T.E.A.M. students. They will be excellent teachers.
New T.E.A.M. Teacher:
I am delighted to report that Kelly Stultz will replace Mrs. McKinney as a T.E.A.M. teacher. Mrs. Stultz is currently teaching first grade at Richards. Her youngest daughter, Bailey, was a T.E.A.M. student in Mrs. McKinney's class. Bailey is now a third year architectural student at Ball State University.
Last Spelling Test:
Next week will be the last spelling test of the year. In traditional T.E.A.M. fashion, the last test will consist of only student names. Students may test on all three lists, all challenge words, and all sentences.
DI Fundraiser:
Please consider helping Southside's DI team as they raise money to attend the Global competition in Knoxville, Tenn. They must raise $6,000. Team members will put together and deliver Snappy Tomato pizzas on Saturday, May 19.
They will also conduct a jar war at school next week. Coins will be deposited in the jar of a participating Southside staff member. The "winning" teacher will be duct taped to the commons wall next Friday. Participating staff members are Mrs Dettemer, Mrs Brown, Mrs Keele, Mr. Bodart, Mr. Yeaton, and Mr. Gambrel. The team appreciates your support.

Thank You, PTO:
Thank you to everyone who donated items for the teacher appreciation breakfast and/or lunch. The food was delicious, appreciated and enjoyed.
Snacks:
Next week's snacks will be provided by the families of Tyler (T.E.A.M McKinney) and Bridger (T.E.A.M. Voelz).
T.E.A.M. Overnight:
Please let us know if you or an older child will be a guest reader at the T.E.A.M. Overnight. Thank you to everyone who has let us know if your child will spend the night or will leave after enjoying an ice cream sundae.
