CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Philadelphia is the industry’s premier business networking organization dedicated to supporting the achievements of women in commercial real estate. Its more than 150 local members are engaged in all facets of commercial real estate.
CREW Philadelphia is proud to announce its 2016 Scholarship Program awarding scholarships to four deserving women pursuing a course of study in the field of Commercial Real Estate.
BENEFITS OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:
· $2,500 to be applied to education expenses;
· Complimentary Guest attendance to one CREW Philadelphia meeting within 12 months of the scholarship award (excluding the Nov Charitable Luncheon), in addition to complimentary guest attendance to the Past President’s event in April to receive the scholarship;
· Complimentary lunch with CREW Philadelphia member.
Enclosed in this packet is our Application and Qualification requirements. Applications will only be accepted from January 18 – February 29, 2016. Please send completed packets to Maureen Hobson via email at . Applications received before/after the above period, will not be considered.
Scholarship winners will be contacted by early April and will be invited to CREW Philadelphia’s Past Presidents Event in April 2016. Scholarships will be presented during the event.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP AWARD*
1. Must be a female applicant.
2. Must be currently enrolled in a Philadelphia Regional Accredited College/University as a Junior in a Bachelor’s Program, or as a or Senior accepted into a graduate program, or a Graduate student in any of the following majors/disciplines focused on a career in Commercial Real Estate, including, but not limited to:
Architecture
Interior Design / Space Planning
Real Estate Law
Banking / Finance / Accounting
Development
Appraisal
Engineering
Environmental Consulting
Brokerage
Insurance
Construction / Project Management
Land Use Planning
Property Management
3. Overall GPA of 3.0 or better – need to submit latest transcript, at minimum a printout of your cumulative transcript from your school’s website.
4. GPA in Major of 3.0 or better – need to submit latest transcript, at minimum a printout of your cumulative transcript from your school’s website.
5. Two (2) Letters of Reference from any two of the following sources:
- From a professor in the applicable major;
- From a current or past employer not related to you; and
- From a personal source that has known you at least 5 years.
*Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of CREW Philadelphia.
