Several meetings have been held over the past few months to organize and plan an “All Night Post Graduation Celebration” for the 2008 Midd-West High School seniors to be held on June 6th and 7th, 2008 at the Middlecreek Area Community Center (MACC). The purpose of this event is to provide our graduates with a time of reflection and celebration in a drug and alcohol free environment.

In February, a letter requesting a $10.00 donation per senior with a parent survey form was sent home with your senior. You should find this original letter and survey form included. Your donation, along with fundraisers and financial support from area businesses, are the only funding available to provide the activities, prizes and food for this event. To date, we have only received donations and survey forms from the parents of 28 seniors of a class in excess of 150 students. These funds will be critical in paying deposits for planned activities. We also need the surveys to determine what and how parents are willing to assist with this event. Meeting dates and times are posted on the senior web page ( and the Parents page. Your help would be greatly appreciated in making this a success for our graduates. You may return your donation and survey form to Mrs. Rearick in the Library by May 9th or mail it to Wendy Reigle P.O. Box 56, Kreamer, PA 17833. Checks should be made payable to “Class of ’08 Post Grad Celebration”. If you supply an email address on the survey forms, you will be included in the updates.

Arrangements have been made with Mr. Snyder to create a DVD for each graduate who attends the celebration. The first portion will consist of each senior picture as it appears in the yearbook, while the class song is playing. The second portion will consist of “growing up” pictures that we’re asking you to provide. Go through your albums and choose up to 10 pictures to be scanned and made part of this memorable keepsake. As these pictures are important to you, please have your name and phone number on each one, place your selections in an envelope and give them to Mr. Snyder in Room #310 by Friday, May 9, 2008.

You will also find enclosed with this letter an order form to purchase the graduation ceremony as professionally recorded by “Video Shots” of Selinsgrove. It is available in either DVD or VHS and will make another memorable keepsake, giving you the chance to sit back and enjoy graduation!!

We appreciate all of you that sold chicken and attended the Hoss’s and Pizza Hut community nights along with selling pie candles and Boyds Bears previously. Currently we have raised approx. $1000 in fundraising, not including the candle sale.
