Dear Sacrifice 52 Covenant Member of The Enon Church:

Please take advantage of an important initiative by partnering with The Enon Church in serving as a Sacrifice 52 Covenant Member. The purpose of this campaign is to provide the financial foundation for the expansion of our church. Due to growth in the membership as well as the need for a facility to accommodate worship services and activities for the Youth Ministry, it is time for us to build again. In order to fulfill this building expansion, we must meet the financial obligation. It is because of this obligation that we are asking you to become a Sacrifice 52 Covenant Member of the Enon Church.

The Enon Church has played a vital role in the surrounding community. We have opened our doors for the larger community to enjoy our beautiful edifice for various services, events, ceremonies, and other occasions. In 2 Corinthians, Paul speaks to the church and says, “Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our area of activity among you will greatly expand so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you.”Twenty-two years ago, shortly after I began my pastorate, I had a vision to revitalize the community by building a new church edifice directly across from the original historical landmark. As a result of this vision, unwavering faith, and concerted efforts, 26 acres of land were purchased. Six of those 26 acres provide the foundation for the present church.

My vision and faith in God were always beyond the present, which expanded into a greater vision of a Family and Life Development Center to further support a growing community, and to provide a facility for the future membership of the Enon Church. The proposed new addition will assure additional space for The Enon Church to further the cause of meeting the spiritual, social, and civic needs of the South Fulton Community, the Enon Church and its congregants to fulfill its mission of promoting a more excellent way of living.

We see the growth of this church as a benefit to this community and the generations to follow. The church is a place of worship, fellowship, shelter, refuge and a place of hospitality for all who enter our doors. By expanding our building size, we are offering even more resources to our members, the youth, those in the community, our neighbors, coworkers and friends.

The success of our ministry has largely been due to the generous financial contributions of our members and church partners. As a pledge and active participant of the “Sacrifice 52 Covenant,” we ask you to go beyond your weekly tithes and offerings by giving the amount, which corresponds with the numbered chronological week of the 52-week timeframe. Example: Last week was the first week of the year, we gave $1.00, during week 15, you are expected to give $15.00, etc. The last week of the year, the 52nd week, we give $52.00. Please see the Covenant Chart on the back for detailed information.

Thank you in advance for your sacrifice and commitment to the expansion of God’s Kingdom. For questions and additional information, please contact the Church Office at 770.306.0400 or send an email to .

Yours Because of Calvary,

Dr. Gregory L. Pollard, Senior Pastor/Teacher
