Dear Rummel Creek Elementary Family, Friends and Community,
For over 50 years, Rummel Creek Elementary has been both a cornerstone of our Memorial area community and a magnet for families who are drawn by its tradition of academic excellence. The Rummel Creek Elementary PTA proudly presents “RCE Goes Gatsby” which will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Westin Memorial City. The evening will include silent and live auctions, as well as dinner and dancing.
Thisevent is the single largest fundraiser for our school and is only held every other year. The contributions and proceeds from this event will be used to support our students in ways that state funding no longer affords, such as annual salaries for teacher aides and specialists, an outdoor garden,interactive technology etc.
With state funding declining, we depend on PTA fundraisers, such as this event, to allow us to provide the highest quality education possible for our children. We are very proud and fortunate to have a generous local business community that understands the value of investing in our community and our school. Every two years we call on you, our neighboring businesses, for support and generosity to help us obtain the funds needed to cover the shortfall in our state funding. Your contribution and participation is pivotalto the success of our school.
We invite you to be a part of our wonderful event by donating to our fundraising event. Ourdonors will be recognized in thecatalog, which will be distributed to our 500 neighborhood families and displayed at the event. This is an excellent way to promote and advertise your business to our families.
