Italian propaganda in the United Kingdom, and British activities in Fascist Italy: a ‘new’ path to explore Anglo-Italian relations (1922-1939)

I am interested in exploring the topic of both Italian and British propagandistic activities addressed aboard, with the attempt to investigate their connection, and their historical impactin the relations occurred between the two countries during the twenty and the thirty. I am particularly interested on the field of both Italian and British cultural activities developed in the context of universities and education, cultural institutions and arts enterprises. My research project is involved with a wide research activities, which I have undertook at the main both British and Italian Archives.

I have published plenty of newspapers articleson “Napolipiu’” and “Metropolis” focused into the topic of Italian culture, and academic activities undertook by the “Federico II” University of Naples

I am working on a project to establish in Reading the first British section of the ISHA (International Students of History Association), in collaboration with Valentina Caldari (President of ISHA - Rome branch)

I am supporting independent research services at British archives by promoting training courses and guidance visits at the UK National Archives and other British archives on behalf of Dr. Kevin Jones

Conference/seminar/workshop organization

I am currently involved with organizing seminars and workshops on many aspects of Italian culture in the contemporary age on behalf of the Department of Filologia Moderna “Salvatore Battaglia” (“Federico II”, University of Naples)

I am a member of the examining board in Italian Literature, on behalf of Prof. Giuseppina Scognamiglio, within the of Filologia Moderna “Salvatore Battaglia” (“Federico II, University of Naples)
