A jam packed weekend of futsal for the club as we host Wales’ biggest ever Futsal event
Huge weekend for Futsal in Wales
In our third week of futsal events which are being ran by ourselves for all North Wales Academy clubs we saw some great quality on show.
Our 9s and 10s took part in a six team event along with TNS, Rhyl, Flint Town United and Airbus.
Our 11s followed in a smaller four team competition including Rhyl, Flint and Aibus.
All three of our youngest age groups played some great stuff against top opposition.
Sunday saw the second installment of the under 12, 14 and 16 North Wales Futsal League competition.
Again all clubs from North Wales from Newtown to Porthmadog all took part. The day saw just over 240 futsal games played with over 500 different players!
In December alone we have hosted the following:
· 1 under 8 and under 9 Futsal Festivals
· 1 under 13 and under 15 Futsal Festivals
· 2 under 10 and 11 Futsal Festivals
· 2 under 12, 14 and 16 Futsal League dates
To date in December at Deeside Leisure Centre we have seen a total of 1337 Futsal games take place over the 3 weeks with just over 1500 playing opportunities for all these clubs combined!

Academy goalkeeper coaching to resume in 2013!
A reminder to all academy goalkeepers that their is no training tomorrow evening and we will be resuming goalkeeper sessions on Tuesday 8th January.
Academy Parents evening
This Thursday evening at Deeside College all of our academy players will be having their annual review with their respected coaches.
The players evaluation forms have been attached below.
Players must fill out their self-assessment form and must bring on Thursday evening.
All players have been allocated a 7 minute window for their meeting with the coach.
Similar to school parent evening there is a very strong chance the evening will over run. We have extended the time slot this year to try and aid this.
As well as your time slot with your respected coaches both myself and goalkeeper coach Neil Ebbrell will be in attendance and will be available to speak to any players or parents.
Players and parents are asked to arrive as punctual as possible to ensure the night runs smoothly.
All meetings will be taking place at the Deeside College Lecture Hall.
The under 13 and 19 sides will be having their parents evening in the New Year.
The under 9 – 12 sides will be in from 17:00 till just after 19:00 with under 14-16 sides from 19:00 till 21:00.

Tri Cast jackpot raises to £700 for this up and coming weekend
This will be the last tri cast of 2012 and what a way to start Christmas and the New Year for a potential winner!
Following Liverpool’s shock defeat at home to Aston Villa by three goals to one this wasn’t predicted by any players leaving yet another roll over.
This weekend’s fixtures include:

Second installment of £40 subs
A reminder these must be paid either this evening at training or at parents evening o Thursday.
Christmas period
This will be our final session of 2012 this evening.
