Dear Partners,
We are pleased to invite you to the 2013 Partners’ Forum being hosted by UNICEF on 24th September 2013 in New York.
During the Forum, we will come together to review progress to date, discuss the priorities and focus areas for the partnership moving forward, and decide how to collectively advocate for an inclusive post-2015 agenda.
You are also cordially invited to attend a reception in the evening sponsored by several UN Agencies and governments, where a Call to Action will be made for an Inclusive Post-2015 Development Agenda. During this event, the UN Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will launch a new publication featuring the voices of persons with disabilities on inclusive development.

Please find the linkedprovisional agenda for the Forum. Through consultation with the Core Group, it was agreed to focus in the morning on reviewing the work and structure of the GPcwd and in the afternoon focus on strategies for advocacy towards an Inclusive Post-2015 Agenda. We are very excited to have Ms. Amina Mohammed, Special Advisor of the Secretary-General on Post-2015 Development Planning to provide the keynote address for the afternoon. The expectation is to come away from the meeting with an agreement on the partnership structure, Partners’ roles, commitments and key actions through 2015. REGISTRATION
You may now register for the Forum by completing the linked form and submitting to . Due to limited meeting space, each partner organization may register up to 2 representatives, not including personal care assistants (PCA). Also as the Forum will take place during the UN General Assembly, there will be increased security in the area. As such, the list of participants must be completed by mid-August and thus the deadline for registration is 15 August 2013. Registration will be processed as they are received .If you require a special invitation to obtain a US visa, please indicate this in the registration form and submit the form as soon as possible as it can take several weeks for the consulate in your country to approve the visa.
