Dear Oldtimers & Youngtimers
The Moncton Dynomites Oldtimers Hockey Club would like to extend an invitation to your Hockey club to attend our 38th Annual Oldtimers & Youngtimers Hockey Tournament to be held in Moncton N.B., starting on March 30th and running until April 3rd 2017. Teams from out of town will have their first game of the tournament scheduled for FRIDAY. NOTE: Teams have to be available to play by noon on FRIDAY if necessary.
We will be accepting 100 teams on first come, first served basis, which will be divided into divisions.
Various divisions include teams with players 50 and over, 45 and over, 35 and over, 30 and over, 19 and over as well as a Women’s division, if at least 4 teams register. We will also have a division of players 45 and over on draft basis (we must have 60 player applications for a full DRAFT division). Players must be of age by end of 2017. Proof of age must be in the form of Driver’s License, Birth Certificate or any other Legal Document (Original Only).
(A minimum of 4 teams required for any age category. If not enough teams for a division, you will be placed in the closet division to yours).
Each team is guaranteed three (3) games. Play will be held in the Superior Propane Centre(originally called the 4 Ice Center or Red Ball Internet Centre), Kay Arena, as well as the Riverview rinks. Day of Champions will be on SUNDAY, April3rd 2017.
Rules laid down by C.A.R.H.A. will govern the conduct and play of the game. We would suggest that the Teams have at least 11 players but we are not enforcing this rule. Teams from out of town will have their first game of the tournament scheduled for FRIDAY. NOTE: Teams have to be available to play by noon on FRIDAY if necessary.
For teams requiring overnight accommodations in Moncton, we suggest you make your reservation EARLY. If you require further assistance, please contact the undersigned. (See our website for Motels)
Tournament fee is STILL$780.00 per team to accompany the list of players by February 28th2017.
Instructions to Register your Team:
Fill out the Team Registration Form and mail or email to Mike Batog. Payment can be made by one of the following methods.
1)Mail cheque ($780 made out to Moncton Dynomites) to Mike Batog.
2)Click on the PayPal Logo on the Dynomites web site and follow instructions to pay ($780) using your credit card.
3)E- transfer from your bank ($780) to (prior to starting your e-transfer contact Mike Batog for the secret question & answer).
Please make sure to identify your team name on the cheque, paypal or e-transfer so we can match payment with your Registration Form.
