Thank you for being fabulous and applying to dance at Casbah Cabaret - woo hoo!

What you need to do is decide what you're going to dance; complete this form and email it to by 6th April 2018.

Our mission is to promote you or your troupe as the stars of Casbah Cabaret. We love to pay tribute to our performers, so if there's anything you'd like us to say about you, please insert below. If not, rest assured you can count on us to promote you in a delicious way! Please attach your most fabulous photo to feature in our star line-up.

Please kindly note that we wereoversubscribed for our launch event and we therefore cannot guarantee that your application will be successful for this show
We're a family-friendly bunch and we know your bellydance routines & costumes will be too ;)
By accepting to perform you'll organise your advance performer ticket purchase on-line (£8 early bird, £10 from 1 March until 15 April when online ticket sales close) at We cannot guarantee on-the-door ticket availability so please ensure you buy your ticket in advance to secure your performance slot
By your participation we assume you'll be happily photographed and filmed at this event for promotional purposes. You might even find your picture on our next flyer! We don't have an official videographer, so if you'd like a record of your performance, please entrust photos and videoing to a fan!
Please remember that you'll be dancing in a reserved function area of a restaurant and pub. Just like a pro, please be aware staff could be serving in your performance area; you'll be dancing in close proximity to your audience so please take care when dancing with props and watch out for spills, broken glass etc. We strongly recommend dancers don sensible footwear. It's all part of the restaurant dancing fun!
HINT! ;) The dancers enjoying the best audience response are those who recognise the need to use the WHOLE dance floor space which includes both the central larger dance area and around tables. Embrace the ethos of Casbah Cabaret! In restaurants and other live settings, we bellydancers understand the need to showcase our performance to every member of the audience, regardless of where they are sitting. Even if they're in a corner behind a pillar! Our most successful Casbah Cabaret performers adapt their dancing, choreography and group formations (sometimes on the spot!) to keep the audience engaged and give them a great view. In applying for Casbah Cabaret, we know you want to be fabulous too and are up for the challenge of restaurant-style performance, so go on and showcase your talents to everyone!
By agreeing to participate in Casbah Cabaret, you confirm you are safe, fit and well to dance and are responsible for your own welfare whilst dancing at all times. You will ensure you are warmed-up and cooled down before and after performing. We, the event organisers, will do our utmost to ensure the safety of your environment. The organisers will not accept any liability for accidents or injury incurred through participation in Casbah Cabaret
A small changing area will be available, but individuals are solely responsible for their valuables at all times
Please ensure your children (should they join in the fun) are supervised at all times

We hope that if you also bellydance professionally and/or are a troupe leader, you will share your publicity exclusively on our publicity desk. Please kindly avoid putting your PR materials anywhere else in the restaurant and facilities.
