Lego Club
Dear OLA Students and Parents:
The Lego Club is starting for students in grades K-8! The club will meet on Wednesdays and the first meeting is on October 12th from 3:00 – 3:30. Students in grades K-3 will meet in the Primary Auditorium and students in grades 4-8 will meet in Mr. D’Onofrio’s room #13. Lego Club will be limited to 30 students for the Primary Building location and the Main Building location. If you have your own Lego sets that you would like to bring with you, please do so. Make sure that you clearly mark your name on the container. You will take them home each time. We have a limited number of Lego sets to share. If you have any sets or know of anyone with sets that they would be willing to donate, please send them to school.
All school rules are in full effect for the club. A student may be asked not to return to Lego Club for behavioral reasons by Mr. D’Onofrio, Mr. Katzbach, or the administration. Students will need to be picked up by 3:35 from either the primary building or the main school building. At that time, students from the main building who remain will report to the school office. Students who attend after school care will be walked to the appropriate location.
Any parents that would like to help out, please send me an email at or call the office. Please keep in mind that you will need to be in compliancy with the Virtus Program and have a BCII background check on file with the school office in order to work with the children.
Please fill out the attached permission slip if you would like to join Lego Club! We hope to see you on October 12th.
