Dear Northern Arizona University Class of 1974,
Congratulations Blue and Gold Graduates! Do you remember outdoor stadium football games, snow sculptures, and of course, the beautiful scenery? The time has come for you to return to your college days, be a part of our traditions both new and old, socialize with your NAU classmates, celebrate Homecoming all over again, and share in all that is new at NAU. Mark your calendars for Northern Arizona University’s Class of 1974 Blue and Gold Reunion!
The Blue and Gold Reunion, honoring the 40th anniversary of graduation, will take place in conjunction with the 2014 Homecoming in Flagstaff on Saturday, October 25th. This year’s theme is “Axe of Kindness.”
The reunion will begin Friday, October 24, 2014 with a meet and greet of your class in the Drury lobby from 4-5 p.m. (dinner plans on your own).
Activities for Saturday include bus transportation to Café Au Louie Alumni Breakfast and Homecoming parade downtown, tailgate lunch at the Pavilion, NAU vs. Eastern Washington football game kick-off at 12:30 p.m., and casual dinner following the game at the High Country Conference Center. This reunion is a great way to reminisce, reconnect with former classmates, and visit the campus again.
We encourage you to make plans to attend your reunion! An itinerary and registration with cost is enclosed. For the full reunion experience I recommend the Blue and Gold package, it includes transportation to and from all the reunion activities and all things Blue and Gold. We look forward to renewing friendships with all of you and hope you will make every effort to participate. The deadline for registration is October 17, 2014.
