The Association of Professional Chaplains®(APC®) and the National Association of Catholic Chaplains(NACC), are hosting a Joint Conference for 2018 with the theme Partners in Shaping the Future July 12-15 2018 in Anaheim, CA. This will be the largest conference for professional chaplains in 2018 and I am seeking the support of <insert your organization’s name> to help me fund this important learning experience.
This year’s theme, Partners in Shaping the Future is an expression of the goals these two organizations share and their mission to educate and certify chaplains as they work to grow and strengthen spiritual care. APC and NACC combined represent the largest number of professional chaplains in North America and are well regarded for their education and collaborative workshops. The conference goals are Leading with Professionalism and Integrity, Collaborating with other Professions to Serve Those in our Care, Empowering the Profession through Research, and Supporting Diversity and Inclusiveness
The conference features a number of educational sessions that are tailored to <insert your business functional area here>, plus there will be many opportunities for me to collaborate and share best practices with chaplains from the United States and abroad. I am confident that I will return with knowledge I can apply directly to my job, including cutting-edge research, new ways to provide support to our diverse populations, and methods to improve the quality of chaplaincy care throughout the organization.
