With great enthusiasm, I am pleased to announce that the Appraisal Institute is teaming up with the American Real Estate Society (ARES) and the CCIM Institute (CCIM) to bring our Market Analysis and Market Forecasting seminar to this year’s 26th Annual Meeting of the American Real Estate Society, which will take place in sunny Naples, Fla., April 14-17. This marks the sixth straight year that the Appraisal Institute has participated in this outstanding conference.
While I believe that this unique program is a perfect learning tool for those of us performing appraisals in declining markets (unfortunately, just about all of us), I also believe that the entire ARES annual meeting event is well-suited to the interests of our members. From sessions on green buildings and sustainability to revisiting appraisal theory, and applying valuation methodology to real estate markets in developing countries, the ARES annual meeting promises to deliver educated, inspired and timely insights into the state of real estate, as we know it today.
For your reference, we have attached three PDF files that contain more information regarding the Market Analysis and Market Forecasting seminar sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, as well as details pertaining to ARES’ Annual Meeting and an outline of the programs that will be available to attendees.
