Deacon Nominations

The Deacons are receiving nominations for prospective Deacons from March 18until April 1. If you feel there is a church member whom God may be calling to that service, please write their name in the space below and return to the office or to one of your Deacons.

In accordance with the meaning of the word and the practice of the New Testament, Deacons are to be servants and stewards of the Church.

Qualifications

(1)Deacons shall be men in full communion with the Church, of mature judgment, with unquestioned Christian character and loyal to the Lord Jesus Christ. Each Deacon shall be born again of the Spirit of God and willing to give and live his Christian testimony before the Church membership and the world. Each deacon must meet the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and Acts 6:1-7.

(2)Be active and faithful in church attendance and supporting the various ministries of the Church with their time, talents, tithes, and offerings.

Trustee Nominations

The Deacons and Trustees are receiving nominations for prospective Trustees from March 18 until April 1. If you feel there is a church member whom God may be calling to that service, please write their name in the space below and return to the office or to one of your Deacons.

The task of the Trustee is to serve with the Senior Pastor and staff to appropriate funds in a fiscally responsible manner while serving with the faith that God will provide the Church with all of the financial resources needed. The Trustees are responsible for overseeing the assets of the Church. Members of the Church considered for service as Trustees must meet the following qualifications:

(1)Be active and faithful in church attendance and supporting the various ministries of the Church with their time, talents, tithes, and offerings.

(2)Have a positive reputation both inside and outside the Church.
