No man Knoweth the Day nor Hour
ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
But ye shall receive
Parable of the Ten VirginsMat 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.Mat 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.Mat 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:Mat 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.Mat 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.Mat 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.Mat 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.Mat 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.Mat 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough[arkeo, ar-keh'-o; appar. (by impl.) to avail (fig. be satisfactory):--be content, be enough, suffice, be sufficient.]for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.Mat 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.Mat 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.Mat 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.Mat 25:13 Watch [gregoreuo, gray-gor-yoo'-o; to keep awake, i.e. watch (lit. or fig.):--be vigilant, wake, (be) watch (-ful).]therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Gather Together His ElectMark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, Mark 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angelswhich are in heaven, neither the Son
Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Mark 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, [of soft quality or delicate tone; subdued]and putteth forth leaves, [a new start, latter rain, preparing for summer]ye know that summer is near: Mark 13:29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. Mark 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Mark 13:32 But of[concerning; about; with reference to] that day and that hour knoweth[eido, i'-do; to see (lit. or fig.); by impl. to know:--be aware, behold, consider, (have) known (-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand] no man, no, not the angels [ang'-el-os] which are in heaven, [ouranos - air]neither[oude, oo-deh'; not however, i.e. not even: not (even, so much as)] the Son, but the Father. Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Mark 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Mark 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Mark 13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Heaven[ouranos]● Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: [heaven] for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
● Luke 13:18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? Luke 13:19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the airlodged in the branches of it.
● Luke 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the airdevoured it. – compare - Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then comeththe devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Angels in HeavenEph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
watchRev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

sudden [aiphnidios] destruction1 Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 1 Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; thensudden [aiphnidios] destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 1 Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 1 Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 1 Th 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 1 Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 1 Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Heaven and earth shall pass awayLuke 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Luke 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; Luke 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall notpass away. Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. Luke 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
It is not for you to know the times or the seasons
Acts 1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Acts 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: Acts 1:3 To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. [authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength. (another words Christ)] Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, [dunamis, - miraculous power power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.(another words “word”)]after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: [Pentecost]and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Acts 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalemfrom the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
Gal 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. Gal 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.Gal 4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

and in Samaria,
Luke 17:11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst ofSamaria and Galilee. Luke 17:12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: Luke 17:13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. Luke 17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, Luke 17:16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? Luke 17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. Luke 17:19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. Luke 17:23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. Luke 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
