Slide 4: Life Rule – Go for Your Dreams – Have No Regrets
Discussion:
  • Is there something you really want to do but have been putting off doing?
  • Is it because you are afraid?
  • Do you doubt yourself?
  • Maybe the thing you want to do is really hard and there will be a lot of obstacles in the way.
  • Just like getting on the “harder but worth it” track, it is worth it to do the harder thing and do everything you can to live out your dream.
Teacher shares a personal story:
  • Think of a time you didn’t go for something and regretted it later.
  • Think of another time you took a risk and did the harder but worth it thing.
  • Share both of these stories with students.
Note:
Life is short! We should all make the most of our lives and not let anything stand in the way of our dreams. / 10
Slide 5: Homework
Introduction:
Think about something you would really like to achieve this year but have been putting off because it’s hard or you’re afraid. Research places or people that can help you.

Send these volunteers the “maze master” grid map after class.
  • Remind students to spread the WhyTry word by encouraging their fellow students to come.
