Addiction Experience

Addiction free and keeping my addiction in remission since December 25th, 2007.

After 9 years of a serious prescription drug addiction that devastated my life, I became sober (put myself through and graduated from the PEER 1 in-patient program) and started becoming an advocate to help others seeking recovery from drug addiction.

Guest on the prescription addiction radio show talking about my story and the epidemic of prescription addiction happening in the United States today.

I can strongly relate and empathize with individuals who are going through addiction and the problems that are associated with it.
I have been through the gauntlet of seeking diagnosis and treatment for addiction and the frustrations that always accompany it.

Acquired my Masters of Health Science, Environmental Health Sciences, and Radiation Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Hygiene and Public Health. Thesis: Fundamentals of Aerosol Delivery to the Respiratory Tract with an Emphasis on the Performance of MedicinalSpacer Devices.

Project leader for the improvement and creation of six aerosol delivery devices from different medical companies.

Developed medicinal spacer for asthmatics from conception, revision, prototyping, analyzation, and finally to market launch for the general public to acquire and use.

Presentation of research project in 2010 at the Public Health in the Rockies Conference.
