• Worked on large civil engineering projects between 1968 to 1974
• Between 1974 to 1996 involved in managing a variety of different construction projects, varying from several thousand pounds to £2m. Projects have included residential properties, conservatories, civil engineering work, commercial and industrial buildings, hotel refurbishments, many leisure orientated contracts, etc
• Between 1995 to 2004, specialist consultant to Lloyd & Associates, solicitors, advising their construction law and building services department
• From 1996 to 2003, administered through Ron Wheal Associates Limited, I managed an arbitration dispute settlement service for UK based travel industry tour operators. Since 2004, this service has been administered through Dispute Settlement Services Limited
• Since 1998 have received an increasing number of instructions from solicitors/tour operators/insurance companies/loss adjusters as an expert witness to investigate a variety of UK based and overseas personal injury claims and building related problems on behalf of both claimants and defendants, as well as approved joint expert
