Danforth Scholars Program at Washington University: Student must be nominated.

Nominee must have outstanding academic performance, activities that illustrate exceptional commitment to community service, high moral character, leadership, and academic and personal achievements that set the student apart. Scholars may receive full or partial tuition scholarships, renewed each year provided they progress academically and uphold their high standards of character. Program based on merit, and need considered as part of the award.
