Dan Gritzner

Dan Gritzner resides in Manchester, Iowa with his wife Joan. He has two daughters ages 24 and 21 as well as a son who is 18. Dan is the Mossy OakWhitetail Regional Pro StaffManager for the states of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Gritzner is an avid bow hunter, who also enjoys turkey hunting and fly fishing. He grew up learning to hunt from his father and grandfather. He owes his love of the outdoors to his dad, Charlie who was always willing to let him "tag along". Starting at age 12, he began hunting pheasant and other small game. He now has several good whitetails and numerous turkeys to his credit, but cherishes the hunts he has shared with his children most of all.

Dan has picked up where his dad left off by teaching not only his children, but several other youth in the area the joys of hunting and the outdoors. Dan thinks there is nothing in the world like the excitement of a youngster who has just harvested that first turkey or deer.

Dan owns and operates a steel fabrication business. He is a founding, and 14-year committee member of one of the top NWTF chapters in Iowa. Dan retired from the volunteer fire department with 24 years of service. He is a land owner who strives to leave the “dirt” better than he found it. Food plots, conservation practices, and timber improvements, have become a passion for him. As a Biologic seed dealer, he strives to help other landowners improve the quality of habitat on their ground.

Danloves the fact that his work with Mossy Oak allows him to continue to meet others with the same passion for the outdoors.
