All entries must be postmarked by May 8. Late entries may be denied due to lack of space.

BEEF CATTLE DIVISION

(Limit of three (3) entries for breeding and one (1) market)

Breeding Beef Champion - Bull and Female (Includes Registered & Commercial Breeding Beef and/or Replacement Heifers)

Best Market Steer Champion - Market Steer

Best Group of 3 Market Steers(May be individual or club)

Best Group of 3 Replacement Heifers(May be individual or club)

Best Novice Showman (Champion will advance to Intermediate)

Best Intermediate Showman (Champion will advance to Advanced)

Advanced Showman

Class 6100Beef Breeder – all breeds including crossbred and replacement heifers

Class 6200Market beef steer, groupings by weight if required

Class 6300Group of 3 (Market Steer)

Rules:

All Large Livestock are to be in their assigned club areas by 6:30 a.m. (Area Supervisor arrive 6:00am)

All Beef Cattle will be weighed prior to the show.

Please check in with your area supervisors. Listen to all announcements for instructions and any changes.

Any animal showing signs of illness or injury will not be allowed entry at time of check-in.

EXHIBIT DAY WORK DAY:ALL EXHIBIT DAY BEEF PARTICIPANTS MUST HELP SET UP PENS PRIOR TO EXHIBIT DAY.

Hay, grain feeders, buckets, halters and any show equipment are to be supplied by the exhibitors.

Animals may not be left unsupervised at any time! Be sure your club has a "designated supervisor" at all times!

**PLEASE OBTAIN A RELEASE FROM THE AREA SUPERVISOR IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE THE FAIRPARK AFTER EXHIBIT DAY. **

RELEASES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AFTER ROUND ROBIN AND AFTERFAIRPARK IS CLEAN

(Approximately 3:30pm - no exceptions).Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the exhibitor!

Exhibitor must be able to safely lead & show Beef Animal

(Adult assistance will be allowed and encouraged if your animal is showing signs of stress.)

Neck Ropes are required for all cattle.

Accepted Show Attire for Exhibit Day: You shouldwear white pants or dark jeans, belt and boots; and white long or short sleeved collared shirt.

4-H ties for boys and scarves for girl &; 4-H hats if wearing 4-H whites.

Extra credit will not be given or removed in regards to wearing/ not wearing a 4-H uniform.

However points will be deducted for nonprofessional show attire... (Open toed shoes, shorts, bare mid-drifts, pj’s etc...)

Members are held responsible for following all Exhibit Day Rules and Guidelines

ALL ENTRIES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE 4-H MEMBER. EXHIBIT DAY 4-H OFFICIALS WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY

INJURY/DAMAGE THAT MIGHT OCCUR DURING THIS EVENT.

Please be aware that due to judging schedules/time constraints, the division supervisors have the discretion to instruct the judges to continue classes regardless of missing exhibitors. Please notify division supervisor at check-in, if you are showing more than one species
